Founded in 1984, for over twenty-five years Highcaliber has been producing working Retrievers who are competitive in conformation in Canada and the US. Sound body and spirit is our priority! We remain devoted to this wonderful breed and continue to strive to maintain our goal to produce soumd, quality loving family companions that meet the Labrador standard. Our first Labrador, Josh's accomplishments outline the goals set here at Highcaliber.
His bloodlines were the foundation of Highcaliber where we continue to strive to produce outstanding, versatile dogs.
We feel that a Labrador must possess the proper breed type including expression, coat, size, substance and structure to allow them to hunt in cold, rough water.
Equally important is proper temperament, willingness and desire. These traits combined to make Josh the wonderful, outstanding companion he was.

 2011 was another exciting year...We're looking forward to our 2012 lineup of youngsters making their presence noticed as well! BISS Ch Snowden Hills As Time Goes By, aka Dany, continued his winning streak with three JAM's and BOSS out of six days of specialty shows. Dany also was RWD at 2011 PVLRC in the US. Completed his AKC Championship with BOB in July. Did it with four major wins from breeder judges. Expresso who's visiting Belquest kennels in the US presently, completed his AKC Ch and Grand Ch with BISS and BIS supported entry. So he is now Can Ch/Am GCH Highcaliber Labradale Expresso. Thanks Vicky for making this happen! Among our champions this year:
OTHER EXCITING NEWS: Coffee's daugther, Highcaliber Chocolate Alliance needs single point to finish. Dany's daugthers continue to do well..."Honey" shown one weekend only went WB for her first two points and "JiIl" shown at LRCO specialty only was BOSSweeps first time out.
