	Upcoming litters
We don't breed to just have puppies but for the preservation and improvement of this great breed. Our goal is that you have a loving family companion for the next 13 or so years. Labradale and Highcaliber have three to four litters per year of black, yellow or chocolate puppies. Since we can't keep them all we're searching for quality loving homes for our youngsters. Note: We encourage spaying and neutering of all companion animals! Rescue and adoption agencies have enough unwanted animals, so please be responsible neuter your cats and dogs.

	Ch Linjor Rock Knight JW x Ch Janlon Highcaliber Showgirl Yellow female available, born December 10th, 2011 Knight is a "Sage" grandson as well as grandson of oneof England's top producers all-breeds Rocheby's Old Smoky. He joined us this summer from the UK where he had already earned his Junior Warrant. Here in Canada he quickly completed his Canadian Championship. Gypsy has been a truly outstanding producer for us with three champions thus far. We're very excited about this breeding. We have high expectations for super temperment, type and soundness.
	Ch Linjor Rock Knight x Ch Highcaliber Fifth Element Litter of yellow puppies planned for spring 2012. We're very excited about this planned litter. Leeloo is a Sage daugther of outstanding quality and temperament, soft, willing, affectionate, intelligent all the positive traits of the breed. Knight is a dog with presence and a winning presonality. We're very excited about this breeding.

"Highcaliber Labradale Paris" Parents: BOSS Am/Can Ch Labradale's Coffee Crisp Can/Am WC and Ch JanLon Highcaliber Showgirl [Gypsy] Crate trained, leash trained, home raised. All vaccinations. Paris is sweet, happy and quick to learn. EIC/CNM Clear so will not ever have this form of seizure or muscular disease, PRA-prcd OptiGen carrier (Paris will not ever be affected by this blinding eye defect). Coffee, the sire of this litter has an impressive conformation record and to prove he isn't just a pretty face we did some basic field training with him when he 8-9 years old. He earned both his Am/Can WC's showing great style and drive. Gypsy has been one of our best producers, providing us with puppies of correct breed temperament, trainability and type. Leeloo, Chance and Bella are all her children and all three are champions of merit.

Maritime Labradale Emmett at Highcaliber x Highcaliber Chocolate Alliance (1 pt needed for her Championship) Black and chocolate litter planned for March/April 2012. Emmett is an affectionate, laid back boy, making him an easy dog to live with. His exceptional temperament allows him to run with all the dogs in our kennels as well as being an excellent family companion. Not shown much in 2011 as we were letting him mature, he did win RWD at EOLBA Specialty under reknowned breeder/judge Judy Heim. Allie is a correct Labrador temperament being soft tempered, willing learner. She possesses excellent breed type and structure. One of our best Coffee daugthers. Her dam, Cali was no slouch either. Coffee and Cali also produced: BISS Am GCh/Can Ch Highcaliber Labradale Expresso and Ch Highcaliber Thistlemoor Pheist. CAUTION! In a breed as popular as the Labrador there are many not so ethical people who will sell you a puppy. When poorly bred, poorly raised with low quality vet care and genetics the risk for a hyper disposition or unhealthy puppy and/or adult increases dramatically. This holds especially true for designer breeds where receiving income is usually the primary target of the so called breeder. If you're looking for a wonderful family companion possessing the traits that has made this breed the popular breed that it is be sure to do some research. As an example understand what it means when a breeder says we use 'certified' clear stock for hip, elbows and eye problems, the genetic tests that are now done for many breeds. For Labradors this includes OptiGen PRA-prcd and Exercised Induced Collapse (EIC). Genetics is never absolute but quality breeders strive to produce sound, healthy companions with proper temperaments so that when placed in approved homes the chance of a negative experience for both the new owners and the dog itself is greatly reduced. The emotional pain of an unhealthy dog is not a positive one for a family, to the unethical breeder it matters little. So if you're thinking 'its just a pet' then picture what this puppy is adding to your family. The smiles and hugs the children will exchange with your family as a trusted companion. Play the odds in your favour, buy only from a quality breeder.

All breeding stock has normal hip/elbows and eyes are checked annually. Most are also Optigen rated and our boys all have hearts OFA certified normal. All our Labs also excel in temperament and overall general health, trainability and field drive. The overall retriever is a factor in our breeding considerations as well as soundness and breed type. We feel it is important to breed for an all-round dog and not to focus on only one aspect. This helps us preserve and continue our goal to protect the true Labrador.

Young Adults...

Occasionally we keep puppies to grow up but eventually we must select whom will stay permanently in order to maintain a reasonable number, therefore it becomes necessary to place some of them for sale.

These youngsters are beautiful promising Labradors just waiting for someone to love them. They range from several months of age up to four-years, all are socialized and home-raised as well as crate and leash trained. Amount of formal obedience training provided varies.

Retirees...

Occassioning we place a retired girl in a companion home allowing them a well earned life of leisure. These girls have all clearances, are well-socialized and of the best quality. If you'd rather not experience the discord of a youngster perhaps a retiree is a good choice for you.
