Shot goes directly back to the beginnings of Highcaliber, she descends from our first really great producer Ch Highcaliber Black Powder CD, WC, JH, as well as Can Ch/HR Springfield Highcaliber Valour CD, WCI, JH. We are thrilled to have her retiring with us.

Shot finished her Canadian championship and grand championship in style with multiple group placements. At end of 2014, with limited showing, she was #5 Labrador in Canada.

She earned her Canadian Companion Dog degree with three class placements with scores over 190. During her first visit of five months she earned her Companion Dog Intermediate and last leg of her AKC CDX. Shot also is AKC major pointed. She truly represents what a Labrador is, versatile willing worker that is a pleasure to live with.

In 2016 Shot continued her Canadian career earning her Companion Dog Excellent title. Enroute to this title she earned a HIT in very challenging conditions of extreme weather, being a Labrador she didn’t mind the rain and wet terrain. Perhaps she didn’t like the high temperature but she worked consistently. She is truly a great dog and a treasure to train and live with.

Shot shown the weekend she earned her CD and won three Group 3rds. She literally ran ring to ring showing she is a real trooper.

Here Shot is shown earning an AKC major,  she was expertly handled by William Alexander.

Shot is not an accidental mistake, she truly represents a successful breeding program. Shot’s littermate, Ch Highcaliber Britton Treasure (OFA Good/Elbows normal, OptiGen clear, EIC clear) is the dam of our own Multi-group placer Can GCh Britton a Redneck at Labradale (Blake) and Ch Britton Shakira at Highcaliber.
